K2 Pulse Oximeter

. SpO₂ : This number appears in yellow and indicates your blood oxygen saturation level

. PR bpm : This number appears in green and shows your pulse rate in beats per minute.

. PI% : This represents the Perfusion Index, which measures the strength of the pulse signal through the finger.

. Plethysmograph Waveform: The red wave graph shows the pulsatile blood flow waveform, which helps confirm whether the device is reading a clean, steady pulse signal.

. Function : A pulse oximeter measures the oxygen saturation level in your blood (SpO₂) and your pulse (heart) rate by clipping onto a finger.

. Normal Range : For healthy individuals, normal blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) typically ranges from 95% to 100%. Readings consistently below 95% may indicate low oxygen levels (hypoxia).

. Potential Causes of Low Readings :

  - Respiratory or lung conditions (such as asthma, pneumonia, or viral infections like COVID-19)

  - Poor circulation, cold fingers, or nail polish/artificial nails interfering with the sensor

  - Incorrect placement or movement during the reading

. General Management & Considerations :

  - Rest and re-test after warming your hands or ensuring proper placement.

  - Monitor for associated symptoms like shortness of breath, chest pain, or dizziness.

  - Consult a healthcare professional if readings remain low or if you experience breathing difficulties.
